Taula, in ruins of Talayotic civilization.
Centuries before Christ, corpses were disposed on top of taulas for complete decomposition. When nothing but the skeleton and some skin was left, they were removed and buried in funerary chambers. This can be seen at Poblat de Binissafúllet, southeast of Menorca.
