Trouble at mill

Trouble at mill
Turner Contemporary Margate Kent
(Steps at front)

After 3-4 years
Damage and possibly settlement failure of the concrete surrounds and plinth;
(Many large vertical cracks). Parts show signs of attempted repair.
- There's much worse on the sea-facing side of the building.

More damage

The cracks and splits in the concrete may have been caused or made worse by the regular enormous explosions of 'unused' ordnance at the Shoeburyness site, run by QuinetiQ.

Questions must be asked, what do you think? Or just ignore it all? Whatever…
'Only' 17 million quid to build we were told.
Maybe the same to maintain? No idea. We need the Truth.

Looks like the 17 mill is going the same way as the first attempt, into the sea!!
