In the Bleak Mid-winter

Trail, British Columbia, Canada. A scene by the Columbia River in the city park. Next to the river is the economic reason the town exists, the smelter. I love photographing it with the mountain background.

My wife photographed this scene and I processed it. I desaturated everything except the leaves on these plants.
