Superbe compo !!!

Wow! I like how around the opening it's dark, but the light really shines through the skylight. I've never heard of "California" texturing, but it sure is nice looking.

I really raised the shadows and blacks in processing to create this effect. I saw it as a challenge of getting the tones right with the shadows and the bright light. The more ceiling you see around the opening, the more boring it looks. Thanks for the comment.
