Having been through the mill a bit the last six months or so, decided to have some bonding time with the little one, April and I spent an enjoyable few days in Paris. the first of a few shots to come.

Behind Notre Dame

Chalk and cheese, found this garden behind Notre Dame, hardly a soul around, yet the front was manic, with coach after coach dropping tourists off.

Taken from the top of a Paris L Open Tour Bus, just stopped perfect to look straight across at the light.

The whole reason for going, April and the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero. Taken in Mono as extremely bright!

The Champs Elysses and the Arc de Triomphe, again captured from the top of a bus, on a sunny day, just after a two minute shower.

Found another quite spot, right under the Eiffel Tower, you would not believe, there are hundreds, if not thousands of people in all directions within 10 metres of us!

Mona Lisa

We went, we viewed, we got out as quick as possible. It was heaving, 15/20 people deep, probably 200/300 people in the room, flashes going off all over the place, but we muscled in and got the photo! Mona Lisa, oil painting on a poplar wood panel by the Italian painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect, and engineer Leonardo da Vinci, probably the world’s most-famous painting. Another great way to see Paris. We took a two hour evening cruise, lots of options available, I would think the night cruise when everything is lit up would be amazing.
