Formerly a Portugese trawler, Port Jackson launched in April 1941, acquired by the Royal Navy as HMS Product (T188) in 1943. In 1946 commissioned as RHS Hermes (ΒΠ ΕΡΜΗΣ) in the Royal Hellenic Navy and was used mainly as a minesweeper support vessel until 1973.
