Dilapidation is a welcome,
the rubble carpet rolled out,
the guest room readied.
Each stone baked in the oven,
each brick burnt in the hearth,
a table of wildflowers set,
a cubist chair.
A black dress swaying in the breeze,
a white shirt hanging at the window.
Mountain greens, horta,
to go with the stew. Goat.
We leave only the skull,
we arethat hungry.
We are not afraid
to feast with the ghosts of Tilos.

Polyrus, corduroy cat have particularly liked this photo

Dilapidated objects usually make excellent photo subjects and this is no exception. An excellent composition.

Thanks. It's one of my favourites. The evening light just coats the stones in gold. The arch seems elderly but still graceful.
