Cormorants and Turbines

Cormorants and Turbines
Not sure why I like the juxtaposition, but I do. Photographed on the North Wirral coast at Leasowe.

John Linton, Puzzler4879, David Hodson, Roger (Grisly) and 5 other people have particularly liked this photo

Nice to see that the birds are wise enough to not perch on the wind generators.

Many thanks John. They're often still so the birds might get away with it!

I enjoy taking photos of those wind farms myself. I usually choose New Brighton wind farm though :)

Tremendous capture Roy, the turbines seem not to sure of the wind direction.

Many thanks Roger. When there's no wind it has no direction!

Hi Roy. Turbines are magnificent, works of engineering, but I am still out on them. Do you think that they are a danger to birds? *

Roy Lowry has replied to David Hodson
Hi David. they might take out some birds, but I prefer that to the alternatives like burning fossil fuels or nuclear.
