Grosmont Steam Gala

Grosmont Steam Gala
It's not often these days that you get three different types of live steam locomotive in one shot. Such is the joy of steam galas which try to get every working loco active plus a few visitors.

A4 Pacific 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" is arriving at Grosmont with a service from Pickering that included original wooden LNWR rolling stock. BR Standard 2-6-0 76079 is just pulling out of the station with a freight train for Goathland. Black 5 45428, named "Eric Treacy" since its days on BR, is waiting to shunt an observation car around the station.
