No One Mourns

No One Mourns
Johnny told me Savannah's dad is dead. He died a few days ago in his own apartment. He was a jerk, but he was Savannah's dad. Now she has no parents, like me, Tim, Bruce...I asked Tim and Steph if I could go to the funeral. I just thought I needed to be there. For Savannah. Somebody should. Alfred drops me off at the Funeral home. There's not alot of cars parked around here. When I walk in there's not alot of people either. It looks like I'm the only one who even bothered to dress up. And these people...I think I fought a some of these guys with Tim and Steph. That's the kind of people Savannah's dad hung around with? These jerks are probably here for the food at the wake or something...Savannah's at the front row next to an old guy. He at least dressed up. Grandfather? He doesn't look sad at all. No one's mourning for this man. Savannah can't stop crying, though..... Ahh, not now! The voices....they get louder every time...Just sit down, you'll be fine. Ah, these seats are terrible! Like the ones at school. Everyone just went quiet. A priest walks up. Is that the same priest we saved from when the church blew up?...

"Dearly beloved, we are here today to mourn the untimely demise of Donald Willows. A troubled man who leaves behind a daughter, and is now reunited with his wife, who was sadly taken from him in the wake of one of the Stasis attacks many years ago."
