you should try one: it's good fun - I've even seen Italian police use 'm to swiftly cover large crowded area's, as the railwaystation in Florence & immediate surroundings

I think one should e trained correctly to "drive" it without further risks. But people are allowed to use it just for fun---which is in my eyes to dangerous!

(although, an occasional mermaid-in-uniform is quite a challenging thought too - female police-officers in Italy have very stylish uniforms!)
