MT-24EX diffuser test - Dove stick deodorant cap diffuser

MT-24EX diffuser test - Dove stick deodorant cap diffuser
A flash diffusion test using a 14-spotted ladybird (Propylea quatuordecimpunctata) as a subject, the ladybird's shiny body provides a good test of flash diffusion.

The purpose of the test was to compare diffusion methods for Canon's MT-24EX Macro Twin flash. Only one flash head was fired, with the flash head being positioned at 12 o' clock. In this image a diffuser made from a Dove Invisible Dry stick deodorant cap was used, and the flash head was mounted on a Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe to elevate it above the subject.
