Hamilton Bottle, James Burgess, Luton Bedfordshire
One facet of a James Burgess, Luton, Bedfordshire, "Hamilton" bottle. These were designed to stay on their sides in order to keep the stopper swollen and tight, like wine bottles. William Hamilton patented this type of bottle in 1809. Other facets of the bottle are impressed with other products, "champagne nectar" and "ginger beer".
