Sigfried, let me complement... these worlds are independent but interfere, influence each other, I contemplate them without understanding how did they come together
A thought inducing photograph. I am certainly not familiar with the place but what appears to be a modest house where a family might live seems to be in a state of siege. The parallel power lines in front appear like those of a fence and in conjunction with the high wall in the back the fence takes the more sinister meaning: that of a prison.
The high wall which I assume might be that of an industrial building, may be a factory, dominates the little house. The shadow of the wall, its darkness, appears to be wanting to spread and engulf the whole submerging it and depriving it from the life giving sunlight. Yet, it seems that the sun is shining brighter at the little house with the hope that it may continue to live despite the threat and the siege.
What I see in this picture which many may consider simply as an architectural one is the metaphor of struggle and resistance, the will to survive despite the challenges, this interpretation is enhanced but a certain surreal mood to the picture (the presence of the puff of cloud? unexpected in such a scene). Excellent work and beautifully executed.
Aref, really interesting how many things you can see in a photograph... but this makes sense because a concept I have regarding to photography is that it has to be a way to "see" things that otherwise would be hidden.
Also you are very acute to detect an element surrealistic ( more intense perhaps in the " Autoportrait of My Shadow") element that appears as intrinsic to the situation.
