Life magazine front cover: June 11th, 1945 - "Teen-Age Boys" 


Oh dear, I completely forgot to upload this with the rest of the scans I made from this issue of Life magazine . . . I am most dreadfully sorry!

All the photographs appeared in an article entitled "Teen-age boys" and were taken by Nina Leen.

At least he's not eating or drinking in this one!

"Boys Life" was a title that comes to mind, at least here in the United Snakes. I think the Boy Scouts published the magazine for their troops.

Yes, well, Boys Life had far too many pre-pubescent rugrats in it to quite fill the bill for me. Besides which, all the articles were about digging latrines with trenching tools or baking sourdough in tinfoil over an open fire. Nary a skinny-dipping shot in them anywhere!
