A "Master" with eight older boys at Camp Marienfeld, 1924 

Camp Marienfeld was one of the first boy's camps in the USA, established in 1899. The Camp buildings were scattered along a hilltop, which overlooked Silver Lake, and with a view of the surrounding hills and distant mountains. In the 1950's the camp was abandoned and torn down.
