BR215 BRANDON - [CROWD AT FAIR]
POSTCARD
Date: Posted August 1, 1905.
Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified
Notation: The card was posted from Brandon, but there is nothing obvious in the image or in any text that confirms that this image was taken there.
This was some kind of public event. Hard to see in the image, there is the side of a large tent to the left side of the image. (just behind the two girls in the foreground, a large wooden stake is holding down a guy-wire.) The seller of this postcard indicated that first nations people were pictured. I am not so certain. The women in the back centre, I think, could also be wearing clothing from eastern Europe.
