Date: Posted December 15, 1904 from Ronnie in Winnipeg to Mr. J. Beecroft in Hull, England.

Notation: This is the only postcard image I have seen of Dufferin School. Constructed in 1896, it replaced a smaller school by the same name that had been built in 1883. The new school, on Alexander Avenue near Isabel Street, had 10 rooms and accommodated 540 students. It burned down in 1936 and was replaced by a larger building.

It's not in the MacFarlane book -- I'll have to keep it in mind for Mike if/when he does a new edition.

Mike's sources were mainly lists drawn up by Ontario collectors so the coverage of the prairies is not always the greatest.
