WP1888 WPG - DEAD LEAVES (GIRLS PLAYING WITH)

WP1888 WPG - DEAD LEAVES (GIRLS PLAYING WITH)
Posted to England on December 12, 1905, this card was published by Barrowclough Photo Cards. The location is unidentified. The house has a barn-like structure behind it & no other houses are visible. Likely to be on the outskirts of Winnipeg or another Manitoba city or town.

The title of the card is difficult to read, but appears to be "Dead Leaves".

Could this be an example of the sort of card that he produced for Christmas use? These would likely be the daughters of the sender, "Lancelot". It shouldn't be too difficult to locate anyone with such a distinctive name in the 1906 census -- maybe that would eventually lead us to the location. With the slope, you'd have to think that this was along a river or stream somewhere.

I found three Lancellots in the 1901 Census - ages 18, 18 & 8. Need to spend more time on this.

I couldn't come up with anyone convincing from the 1906 census. There were more Lancelots than I was anticipating, though.
