I might just do that, Gudrun. My one and only German phrase is 'Wo ist der Marktplatz?' A long time ago I went on a school trip, and this was the magic phrase if one got lost. No-one got lost except for me, and I was one of the staff. ;-)

You'll have no problem getting by with English:-) Usually we have a Doodle and a group long before the meeting to set the exact dates and the programme so you'd have plenty of time to book flights and hotels.

Das ist vor dem Bürgermeisterhaus entstanden (Alsterfleet). Wir haben das Denkmal gewählt, weil der grüne Herr dem Bürgermeister Friedrich Petersen gewidmet ist, einem möglicherweise entfernten Verwandten von Lutz P.

Das Denkmal steht auf einem Platz zwischen Neuer Wall und Alsterfleet. Habe eben die Positionierung nachgeholt
