Bolivia #13

Bolivia #13
After one night at Pucacalle (elev. 4,795m), at the corner of our house, These ritual objects (an old shoe and a bundle of "tola" * sticks) are intended to have the evil spirits kept away. A pure coincidence made this pic numbered #13 :-)

Hi Jan
For me, certainly, since I spent a good night inside my Norwegian-made sleeping bag, albeit a temperature about -20°C outside, and below zero inside the not heated room. For the mates who had not been so cautious about their personal gear; that was a kind of hell! :-D

You need also "la tola". And I'm not sure the Great Ancestors of the Dreamtime would respond well to such actions. IMHO, in Australia, it would be better to get in touch with your local medicine man. :-D
