Tundra by mamiya_85
At the end of a remote gravel track in the North of Iceland. Ruined Icelandic traditional house, made of lava blocks along with strips of meadow soil. Beams are from floated wood (only stunted trees in Iceland).
Skógafoss by mamiya_85
Certainly the most elegant waterfall - in fact, a true cataract - I watched during my Icelandic trip. About 60 meters high. Shooted at dusk in the aftermath of a violent windstorm, so the colors are extincted.
Gullfoss by mamiya_85
The roaring and misting terminal channel of the Gullfoss waterfalls. Ghost silhouettes at top right yield the scale
Hrauneyjalon_2 by mamiya_85
Meandering creeks from melting snows flow across cinders and lavas.
Hrauneyjalon_1 by mamiya_85
Melting snow, lava floods and jade-tinted river in the Hrauneyjalon area
Hekla by mamiya_ 210
Hekla volcano (elevation: 1,488 m) erupted for the last time in 2000. Lava floods are as foreground. A 210 mm telelens in 6X4.5 format is roughly the same as a 135 mm lens in 24X36.

Masai Mara #11
The chase was successful. Cheetah stuffing his prey, a young Thompson's gazella. (to have the photo enlarged, move the pointer over the square in the upper left corner)
