Seit wir von einem Haus in eine Eigentumswohnung gezogen sind, habe ich nur einen sehr kleinen Garten und leider keinen Wintergarten. Im alten Haus, hatten wir an einer sonnige und windgeschützte Stelle und da einen großen Feigenbaum. In manchen Jahren war die Ernte einfach zu groß. Kiloweise verschenkten wir die Feigen, weil wir gar nicht soviel selbst essen konnten.

Lovely oranges! The rock wall behind the houses would worry me. I'd be afraid that it would crumble and fall in an earthquake. Nice place to sit and dream by the water front though.

Hello Eunice, the entire lake is embedded in a deep gorge that was formed by glaciers during the Ice Age. The rocks are very massive.
