Lindarbakki

Lindarbakki is one of the few privately owned and still inhabited turf houses in Iceland and a landmark in the village of Bakkagerði. Elísabet Sveinsdóttir, now an old lady, still lives there every summer.

Lindarbakki ist eines der wenigen noch bewohnten, in Privatbesitz befindlichen Grassodenhäuser in Island und ein Wahrzeichen von Bakkagerði. Die Besitzerin Elísabet Sveinsdóttir ist inzwischen eine alte Dame, die aber immer noch jeden Sommer dort wohnt.
