Thank you so much, Herb! It wasn't difficult to get a photo with no people in, we there were only 90 passengers on the boat (plus crew). which is a perfect number for Antarctica as more than 100 are never allowed on land at one time.

Herzlichen Dank, Karin! Wenn man sich zur anderen Seite gedreht hat, war es menschenleer;-) Liegenlassen und so wird strengstens überwacht, da wird man vorher schon eingewiesen, was man darf und was nicht und das Expeditionsteam überwavht das auch.

Einerseits ja, aber andererseits würde dabei ja auch ein Teil der Reise und des Erlebnisses verlorengehen. So das Gefühl, dass man jetzt wirklich weit von zuhause ist.

Das stimmt nun auch wieder, wobei viele dennoch liebend gerne auf je 2 Tage Drake Passage verzichten würden;-) Das Schiffchen ist nicht stabilisiert und hat ganz hübsch gerollt und gestampft bei Windstärke 8 ujnd 13m-Wellen;-)

Thank you so much, Esther! Do it, it's worth every penny! But take care to book on a boat that carries no more than 100 passengers because otherwise your time on land will be too short as there's a limit of max. 100 (sometimes 50) people for landings.
