Nedre Elvehavn

After the closure of TMV docks (Trondhjems Mekaniske Værksted) in 1983 the area has become the site of an urban renewal project and now houses the new borough of Nedre Elvehavn with shopping centre, housing and plenty of restaurants and bars. The old listed buildings and dry docks have been preserved.

Nachdem die TMV Docks (Trondhjems Mekaniske Værksted) 1983 geschlossen wurden, begann man Ende der 90er das Gelände unter Erhaltung der denkmalgeschützten Bauten und Trockendocks neu zu bebauen. Nedre Elvehavn ist heute ein angesagtes Viertel mit Wohnbebauung, Einkaufszentren und vielen Kneipen.

Dort war ich auch einen Nachmittag lang, an einem heißen Sommertag, sehr angetan von der relaxten Stimmung dort. Allerdings nicht halbwegs so überzeugend ins Bild zu setzen, wie Deine Polarnachtbilder mit den tollen Spiegelungen.

Herzlichen Dank, Heidi! Ja, tagsüber muss man sich da auf die Details konzentrieren. Wir waren gleich über die Brücke im Scandic Nidelven (bombastisches Frühstück!), da war's abends nur ein kurzer Abstecher für ein paar Fotos. Leider kam ich für blaue Stunde zu spät los...

Thanks a lot, Amelia! I first thought they still had their Christmas decorations but it seems to be the usual winter decoration:-) They even have lights in the trees and on the old crane- it was fun. It wasn't that cold, just below zero, but I did wear my gloves.

Danke vielmals, Udo! Ja, das haben sie gut gemacht! Teilweise Neubauten, teilweise die alten Werkstätten umgebaut, und Kräne und Docks zwischendrin. Ich nehme an, die Preise für Wohnungen sind hoch dort...

Ich finde es gut, dass es kein Spiegeleis ist, Gudrun. Die verschwommenen Spiegelungen wirken viel weicher. Auch die Lichtbänder an den Häusern sind sehr effektvoll.

Besten Dank, Uli! Das ist Brackwasser, da wird's wohl nie ganz spiegelig, was mir auch gefallen hat. Die Beleuchtung fand ich spannend, auch Bäume und Kräne waren so dekoriert:-)
