I think it could work ;-) I actually did some experimenting with a "clip-on-fisheye-lens" attached on my mobile phone. Fisheye lenses often allows very close focus and extensive depth of field, thus making the main subject to fill rather large part of the frame. And background also remains if not razor sharp, then at least recognizable. Finally after doing some cropping, one can get interesting perspective. Yes, I see! Of course you'll get the typical fish eye distortions but that can be part of the fun:-) So far I don't own a fish-eye lens because I had more use for an UWW and lenses for my camera usually don't come cheap;-)

Fisheye lens is also a very difficult and demanding lens to use. One can of course just point and shoot but to find really good view points with a fisheye lens is a challenge! My favorite composition with such lenses is to take close-up flower images in the middle of a field full of flowers. Then you get excellent "contextual images"! =)

With fish eye you have to find extraordinary PoVs like your flower meadow.. I have seen some extremely good fish eye photos but there are plenty of examples around that can put you off;-) It is a challenging lens!

Der Titel verrät ja sofort die Herkunft, Gudrun, vorher beim Anschauen musste ich erst einmal raten. Du hast gut auf das Auge fokussiert, also ein echtes Makro. Ein Selfi hatte ich nach ein paar Versuchen auch hinbekommen, aber dann doch ein schöneres Auge von einer netten Dame gefunden.
