Tausend Dank, Tanja! Die Stadt pflanzt auf ihren Flächen jetzt schon seit längerem solche Gras- und Blumenmischungen, die für Trockenrasen geeignet sind. Ist pflegeliecht und sieht gut aus;-)

I was too busy in someone else's garden to comment yesterday, Gudrun. The cerise colours of this dianthus show up well against the muted tones of the fence, and the hint of golden reed compliments the photo.

Thank you so much, Amelia! This is a rather steep and dry embankment, they did some clever low maintenance planting there! The dianthus is a variety which also grows wild in the limestone areas of Southern Germany.
