Buff-tip (Phalera bucephala).

Buff-tip (Phalera bucephala).
One of my favourite moths was a recent capture in my moth trap. It was the first my daughter Jen could identify by name - in infants school! Also it is a perfect example of great mimicry camouflage - that's not a moth it's a Birch twig....! Liden, Swindon, Wiltshire, UK. 2014-07-15.
