Pure adventure!-Rope down in Costa Rica...

We have been in Costa Rica in 2000.I convinced the whole group to make a Canopy tour in the jungle.We had to ride with horses over two hours to reach the Canopy spot.And then we went to a raising between the trees.There was a platform where we had to climb up,but you couldn`t see how high it was to the ground!After a detailed description how to handle the wire and ropes(one hand on the wire,where you was hanging on to control your own speed and one hand on the rope in front of you,to hold the ballance).And because I was the one who was draging the others to this adventure,I had to begin.Ok I started with full speed from one tree to the other one.And only when I was in the middle of the distance from one point to the second one I could see,that I was 30meters high!We had 4 platforms and it was pure fun!!And at the end we had to rope down from this 30 meter-trees.And also at this I had to go at first!To make those little,but very big step into the nothing made me loosing my breath for a looong time ;O) But after such a tour you are feeling like a hero..!Warmest recommendation for this!!!
