Five Jars and driftwood

Five Jars and driftwood
Thanks for visiting and for your kind comments and favourites. They are very appreciated. Thanks for invitations too.

Five pottery jars which resemble pottery made by Bendigo Pottery, Australia's oldest pottery works. I photographed them in front of sandstock bricks because they like the jars have very earthy tones. Not sure if this was a good idea.

I think it was, all from clay, earth, the natural world...the driftwood is a really good touch; a touch of whimsy against the man-made rectangles of bricks and the curve of jars (or woman-made as I use man-made as a generic term)

All those earth tones are just lovely. Like Joan, I think the birds of stem and wood add something distinctive to the shot. They're lovely jars too

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Your still life series is full of interesting subjects, and I love your collections! I think this image works very well with the jars nestled in the brick alcove. Wonderful light, texture, contrast, shadows and reflections. I esp love the shadow of the vine on the jar.

NICE JOB for 5! :)
