looks cool, havnen't yet tried LInux
(or in fact I have, tried to install one earlier version, but couldn't complete it,
later on I tried a newer verson, but the same results, - meanwhile I've been
learning Mac OS - still waiting for a easy to install Linux)
Not sure how long ago your experiment with Linux was, but over the past year many of the more popular Linux distributions have become very easy to install in use. In fact, these days you don't even need to install Linux to try it. You can run a full GUI Linux desktop right from a CD... they are know as "live CDs".
I recommend you try the latest "live CDs" from Mandriva, ALT Linux, Kanotix, Dream Linux or Ubuntu.
Once you burn these images to a CD, you can re-boot your PC and Linux will run entirely from the CD... no need to touch your hard drive, unless you wish to install permanently later on. If you don't like that version of Linux, just eject the CD and reboot and you''re back to your old system.
