Nuclear Power Plant

These photos were taken inside and outside the nuclear power plant in Zwentendorf near Vienna. This power plant was built around 30 years ago but it never went into business. A peoples vote on 5th November 1978 decided 50,5% to 49,5% that Austria will stay nuclear free. Close decision! Today the power plant is owned by EVN and still used for teachings and right now also a few solar power cells are installed on the roof.
