Commanding St.Peter's Square, Manchester Central Library is a neoclassical building, designed by E.Vincent Harris built in the 1930s and loosely based on the Pantheon in Rome.
The library is home to important & rare collections including Elizabeth Gaskell, Samuel Taylor Coleridge & the Bronte sisters.
