West Beach bounty hunters - Newhaven - 30.1.2014

West Beach bounty hunters - Newhaven - 30.1.2014
I don't know what they were probing the sand for, so my caption is a bit vague/quirky. They certainly weren't metal detectorists, their prey was probably shell-fish of some sort. It could also have been lugworms which are used by anglers as bait.
I like the patchwork effect of the ripples as the tide creeps in.
There's a slightly later shot at www.ipernity.com/doc/364457/30063087
