How strange that it would have a pole for power collection, rather than a pantograph. it looks a bit out of place! Nice shot, though!!

Thanks one42, yes the T3MRs have poles - if you have a moment, have a look at the below link where it says poles can make the tram slower than pantographs, there are also some superb images of poled trams on it too :-

Thanks, nice link. We have a short heritage line in town where they can use either, pole or pantograph, the pantograph trams are certainly a lot less hassle going through the switches.
