The Halloween Party in West Hollywood California is the second largest festival in Southern California with over 500,00 people who flock to the streets in costume. West Hollywood is considered a gay community. When this festival was first started years ago, most of the participants were gay but it is now open for all people

There were many things going in favor for this to be a special event. First it was on a Saturday so most people would not have to go to work the next day. The day was extremely warm for this time of year. It was into the mid 80's during the day. No need for any warm clothing this night. It was also very clear with a near full moon which helped out with the night shooting.

This was my first time at this event. I was a little concerned as there have been times in the past where things got a little out of control. I should not have worried as it was very safe. Everybody was having a good time and happy to have their photo taken by anyone.

I did get dressed up too. I wore a hockey jersey and had make up put on to make it look like I had been run into the floor a few times. I'm hoping that someone here has one of me as I did have several people stop me to take my photo.
