Wild Angelica

Wild Angelica
The 17th century hebalist Nicholas Culpeper recommended Angelica against "all epidemical diseases". But Culpeper also mentioned that the plant could be eaten as a candy, and it is in this form that it is best known today., crystallised as a traditional decoration on cakes and other sweet foods.
