Thank you. The easy part is taking the shot the hardest part was finding out what it was!

This photograph, with its shades of green, is very easy on the eye and for the section in sharp focus addresses the subject sympathetically and in great detail. The angle is interesting with the beetle at a different angle to the leaf and with antenae adding further lines. One little niggle, if I may be so bold, would be to say that I would prefer that all of the beetle be sharp. Nice though!

Thank you for your comments. The sharpness of the insect was the best that I could achieve and I must say that I was surprised at the amount of clarity I did get due to the image being shot with my standard kit lens and a Colkin 3x close up filter. Photography on a budget but still enjoyable.
