I have just started using Caffenol, Caffenol-C actually. The Polypan F is what I have most of, followed by Shanghai GP3.
At present I am not sure of the exact origin of all that mess on the film.
I use Photo-Flo, which ought to remove the chance of drying marks as I don't like to squeegee Polypan as it is a cinema duplicating stock AFAIK & might be rather delicate when wet.
The specks look like a chemical deposit.
There are several suspects to eliminate.
The process timing needs work or I was given faulty advice that using decahydrate soda in 2.7x the amount as for the anhydrous form was OK.
