Explorer's Gaze!

Explorer's Gaze!
A view of Captain Cook's monument on Whitby's west cliff. The renowned explorer began his voyages of discovery from the town and his navigation and cartography were legendary. A poor dawn had me scrambling for something to shoot and I liked the silhouette!

Елена Крайняя, Pat, Gérard B, Sonja and 3 other people have particularly liked this photo

A great silhouette and I like the way you've positioned the sun behind the statue to cut down the glare. The warm colours are lovely.
