Noctule bones

Noctule bones
A set of Noctule N. noctula bones from a captive animal. From top left, three wing support bones (metacarpals and phalange), a radius, a humerus, with skull, detached tympanum, detached canine and mandible. D-shaped scapulae and the two clavicle bones to the right, while far right from top can be seen the pelvic sacral fused assembly in its lateral aspect (note the spur on the ventral aspect of the pelvis bone) with two femurs below. In bottom right corner are two tibia, with one showing a healed fracture, reportedly from a chainsaw accident! Courtesy Colin Morris, VWT
