This moth was feeding quite happily...moving around inserting his proboscis into the flowers....oblivious to my photography.

I love the humor....you know there is a conservative presence in the hills of Vermont.....maybe that explains why she's wearing fur....

I wonder what brand of mascara it uses for those long blonde lashes... certainly goes with it's fancy furs. I have to wonder if there are species of insects that can throw ink bombs at others, just to prove convergent evolution in some subsets of humankind... :D

Thanks Sonja....you and Ron really livened this photo up! I love it...
I think it is also interesting how we, as humans, do take a lot of our ornamentation from nature....and nature certainly has an amazing diversity to share....if we look!
