Sud-oriente de Francio (vidu la geo-etikedon). En la franca ĝi skribatas Perpignan, en la kataluna - Perpinyà. Historie tiu ĉi parto apartenis al Kataluna landaro. Fakte ĝis nun ĉie troviĝas katalunaj flagoj, katalunaj nomoj kaj eĉ ekde antaŭnelonge la kataluna iĝis la dua oficiala lingvo en la regiono. Sed reale ege malmultaj homoj tie parolas ĝin - ĉefe maljunuloj.
