History of the picture:
The current Tower Bridge - something the west, where the Golden-Handrei passes into Augustijnenrei - is a name shift from one bridge to another. The bridge was originally called the Saint Gilles New Bridge in a time when the current Golden-Hand Rue Neuve Saint-Gilles was called.
The shift of the name does not change the verdict: it was and remained Torre Bruges. The short street is really nothing more than the run-up to both sides to the bridge. The street called Tower Bridge runs from Oosterlingenplein to the Golden-Hand Street.
