On the Nikon D300, there is no indication of 100 below 250. I just had to guess. In any case, WOW. I didn't realize how much I manipulated photos to make them better. I would have jazzed up the water, lightened and textured the tree, etc.

Anyway, here is my meager untouched attempt.

christel.k, Amazingstoker, Sami Serola, M♥rJ Photogr♥phy !! ( Marj ) have particularly liked this photo

Very peaceful image Cordia. I had to resort to my Nikon D1500 to use the manual dials and such.

The muted colours make this a lovely and tranquil photo!

Lovely framing by the tree leads my eyes to the house and bushes on the other side of the water.

Good composition. I suggest you try to go and shoot that place in different times of day, and different light ;-)

No jazzing up required at least in my opinion! ;)

Nice shot as it is :D The question is if we wont to show how reality look or if we want to twist reality ;)

The key factor in a straight to jpeg photo is the balance of the light and dark, shadows and highlights. It is a good exercise to do this now and again. I tend to get lazy, knowing that I can "fix" it later. That said, the balance of these factors is good in this offering.
