Hosta leaf

Hosta leaf
This is a particularly attractive hosta with crimped edges to the leaves, and apparently inedible to slugs and snails. I've lost one completely, eaten down to the earth, and two others are almost gone, though I keep picking the eaters off them and moving the plants around. The hostas are all in trouble apart from this one. I've never seen them decimated like this before. I blame the mild winter we had for creating too many snails this summer.

If the slugs don't like it, can you post me a root, please?!! I don't suppose you know the variety?

It is Niagara Falls. I got it at a summer fair. I think from the size of the leaves and the way it's growing, it intends to be a big one. The snails and slugs haven't even touched it yet, but they're all over another which is about two feet away from this one.

Thank you - have made mental note to look for one next time I'm plant shopping.
