Ground Elder, or Goutweed

Ground Elder, or Goutweed
This lovely plant is native to Eurasia and has moved around the world as an ornamental. A wild carrot, like Queen Anne's Lace, which it resembles, it has become invasive in some areas. Also known as "Snow in the Mountains", which is certainly resembles here in our mountains of western North Carolina!

It looks pretty there, although it's considered a weed over here.

I think it's a weed here, too--invasive in many places--but its pretty, if you take care of it!
