Mende - General Elektriks

The small Aérodrome Mende - Brenoux is located up on "Mont Mimat" a large "causse" (limestone plateau, alt. 1000 ms). This is, where the "Festival les aériennes" takes place. Shuttle buses transport the visitors up the hairpins to the venue, high up over the city.

It´s a long story about a clavichord and the specific sound of a clavinet that let me come across the name of Hervé Salters, the keyborder and vocalist of "General Elektriks". I was lucky to see them on stage in Mende. Fantastic musicians - all of five them!
