Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille - ElectraVoice

Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille is known by musicians as this is the place of the "Festival du Monastier" (aka "Festival de Cuivres"), a great meeting centered around "brass". 40 concerts - in 7 days!!

We had stayed here for the full seven days in 2017, but rooms are scarce in Monastier during the festival. We could only stay for two nights in 2018, as all rooms were booked out.

We saw and listened to ElectraVoice twice. They performed in front of a large audience on stage during the afternoon and on Monastier´s (pretty empty) central square the next morning. The do mix "chanson" with jazz and pop - and so create a very french mixture.
